I am available for winemaking projects during harvest 2023. If you need affordable help or guidance from small-scale vineyard help to winemaking operations, business or beyond, let's talk.
I also have around 15 tons of space for custom crush and dedicated wine consulting projects in Lake County for 2023. Let's talk about any special or bulk needs, creative arrangements if you have unsold fruit, private label interests, or custom winemaking needs for others. I provide personal hands-on, detail-driven winemaking and can help guide projects from picking to bottling (and beyond) with consistent 90+ point results.
We are particularly good with:
Rhone Reds and textured Whites
Italian cultivars and low-oak styles
Pinot Noir in the Burgundian style
We are fine with whole-cluster fermentations, orange wines, and low/no SO2
We are not set up for reductive whites (SB) or whole-cluster pressing however
Off-site barrel storage will be needed due to our small size however
I also have a wide selection of unique unlabeled wine available as shiners for custom projects or private label use. Currently these wines (most of which have been reviewed by wine magazines and are in distribution now) range from Sangiovese, Barbera, and Dolcetto, which are great for club purchases, to bigger reds like Nebbiolo and Aglianico that are nearly impossible to source.
